Vodacom ****med me out of R3000 rand on Black Friday.

Vodacom seems so fine ******** or conning people these days. My experience with purchase on Black Friday via there app I can only call a ****. Almost two weeks later and still no resolution.

On the 29 November 2019 at around 00:20 I check the Vodacom app as they send out notices about a Samsung 55" UHD TV was going to be on special for only 3000 vodabuck. So checking it's there. I would need to purchase about R3000 airtime.

So I bite the bullet and buy R1000 airtime to test the speed of this transactions. I works and vodabuks sent to me. in like 2 seconds. So I think great I'm going to buy a quick R2000 as the app indicates you can buy for R0 - 2000. So give it a go the app crashes. So start the process again check if Tv is still availible and it is so try again. So I try R2000 again. Now I get a error saying I can only by for R1000. So I have to try again. Check to see if the TV is still there. It is so I by the R1000. I now have over 2000 vodabucks. Check to see if the tv is still there and it is so try and buy another R1000. The app crashes. So I have a quick look again to see if the TV is till there. It is so I buy the R1000 and now I have 3000 vodabuck. Go try and buy the TV and it's gone. replaced by a 40" for 2000 vodabuck. Frustrated by the app and upset as I feel Vodacom just ****med\connect me into bying R3000 airtime. I then see two 32" Tv's for 1500 and I buy two. The purches goes fine I indicate the delivery address. I then phone Vodacom's call centre telling them of my experience. I tell teh lady that she must check if they can rather change the two TV's for the 55" as it basically was the same cost. She tells me she will log the request and someone will contact me later(During the day as it was after 01:00 the morning. Nobody calls I call into the call centre again and every person I speak says they will followup and get back to me. After speaking to about 8 different people and one of the saying I was just unlucky... I responded the apps issues made me unluck with it's issues and wrong info of the R0 - 2000 thing. I as for a Supervisor or Manager. The 9th person then logs a ticket. *** I then get a sms that saying it is closed I call in asking why as I did not get a email or SMS saying what the resolution was. The agent tells me they provided a number for the supplier and said I must call the supplier. I ask that they logg another ticket. As I dont see how you can say your customer that purchased something on your app must phone the supplier. It's not like Pick 'n Pay is going to tell me to phone Bokomo if I have an issue with the bread from them. *** I eventually get another sms saying it's closed again. Still no email or sms saying what the resolution was. So I call in again. I think at this point I spoke to 11 people at Vodacom. I explain to the person my issue and I expect Vodacom resolve the issue with the supplier not me phone the supplier. She understands. Says she will call the supplier. Next day she calls me asking for the reference number for my purchase. I search all my numbers. Even the number I used to buy the stuff with and nothing. She tells me with no order number they will have to refund the Vodabucks. They tell me they can see it's been deducted but they can't tell what I bought. So vodacom must be running a **** here.... how does the item disappear as soon as you have the required vodabucks then when you buy something. They say they don't know what you bout and want to refund the Vodabucks. I asked they lady to log a query to findout what the order number was. *** No feedback since Friday 6 Dec 2019. This really feels like a **** Vodacom.

Since the above, Vodacom has not contacted me. I have been forced to contact them. Received another reference that was also closed. No email or and sent to advise the outcome. Vodacom call centre agents say you must phone in to get feedback.

In a private reply, Vodacom provides one order number. I rep**** asking if I'm getting the 55" or not. Or this is them just working half again. So far I've had someone tell me someone tells me I am getting it, then I'm not via a call and email. So my original order stands as is. So I should have received two order number. So why only do I receive one in the private response?

....Vodacom just does not care that their app caused me to miss out on a deal.
They have no interest in satisfying customers. The reply again tells me that I have to contact Digital Planet.
