? Vodacom **** and access to Vodacom information.

I was phoned by an afrikaans person who called himself Willem, seated in G24J from ***.

He indicated that he worked in the loyalty department at Vodacom head office in Midrand and quoted some "gifts" I would receive for being such a loyal and longstanding client.

He had all my telephone details and the number of years I was a client etc. He said in order for me to have enough points I would need to buy R300 airtime registered to the number indicated above. I did so and received two sms text messages indicating the details of the loyalty give away with numbers and pin numbers.

All of the 5 calls he made came from this number, it sounded as if it was a call centre and the total call time from him was more than 60 minutes, I also phoned him and spoke to him twice on this number to query the status of my airtime one would hardly think all of this worth the R300 paid, thus I was only slightly concerned that it was a ****.

My issue is that I cannot find a number at Vodacom where this incident can be checked or verified as my airtime has not been supplemented by the R300 paid.

My biggest concern is however that this person had access to all my Vodacom personal details and that I have been ****med!!
