VODACOM ****

I am a small business person who always looking for new business ideas, so I wanted to buy that airtime and electricity selling machine from flash. But then one of Vodacom sales people approach me and sold me a machine that they explain as exactly what I needed... I asked them so many times if this machine is doing what I wanted then they said yes then they took my details and left and told me me it will be delivered in the next few days, after 7 days the machine was delivered by two gentlemen then I signed the delivery note but after i opened the machine I realized it wasn't what was sold to me. I then again approached their sales person he said they will come and fetch the machine in 48hours which the same guys that delivered came to fetch it and I signed for it... Vodacom is now harassing me for payments on the machine I do not have and I never used, they are demanding R1587 or else they hand me over to their attorneys. is this appropriate?
