VODACOM SAVED MY MONEY FROM **********

I would like to thank Vodacom from saving my money from **********. Some people called me prentending to be from Vodacom informing that someone is trying to do a sim swap and they also asked me for personal information. Luckily and very luckily Vodacom called me alerting me about the **********. Vodacom also refused to process the sim swap which saved me my hard earned money. Big Ups to Vodacom.

As a suggestion, I would recommend that Vodacom as well as other service providers should raise awareness regarding such issues. Perharps send messages to customers advising them not to give personal information to people over the phone and provide tips on how to identify these people pretending to be from Vodacom.
