Vodacom Sales people are sharks
All our contracts is under my husbands name. They will never speak to me, even though I am the payer. Which I understand. Last year a lady phoned my husband and told him, she was going to change my contract. He was confused and asked her, did you speak to my wife. The contract was made smaller, which I would never do as I use my phone for business and use all my free minutes. Yes, she said with all the confidence in the world. A bit fat bloomen lie. I only realised it when I saw the mail came thru, confirming the changes. We were able to stop it and tried to lay a complaint, nothing happened.
Yesteray I app**** for an additional line online with a phone special and a tablet for free. Total pm R209.99. A consultant phoned us and tried to sell us the same deal at double the price. I said now and went on with the online application. Suddenly the guy phones back and says they have the right to cancel orders if there is a mistake on the website. And would you know it, the cancellation email came thru, saying we not approved. He then again tries to sell me a 36 months contract despite me insisting on a 24.
Weird part is, email say we do not qualify, yet he is trying to sell me a more expensive one.
I then log into the other vodacom account. Our accounts are split for some reason. Because I had a sneaky suspicion that that deal was cancelled by the sales person. Yip, the deal was approved and Vodacom now wants a payslip and id.
Which proves that the sales person cancelled the deal just so he can sell me a more expensive one. I tried online again now, and guess what, I again could get the same deal.
I am so upset with their sales people.
