Vodacom Sales Department ****.
Vodacom at it again. Three months ago, Vodacom sales department phones me. "Your contract is no longer available" we need to move you over. My words exactly "Are their cost implications" i asked this 10 times" I then paid my normal fee for 2 months. Then suddenly my network connection is gone. "I AM IN Arrears and my account is suspended. SHE ****, just to get the sale!!! the fee had now gone up by R150 a month and that amount built up thus my credit record is effected etc.
Well. What do you think I did, I investigated the matter in depth. The direct sales call made to me was tracked and listened to. I have been told in person and on message that I was **** to and at no point was it mentioned that the fee would change. Wait, it gets better, it is now 3 WEEKS! no data, no airtime etc. (I've loaded these myself at my own cost)
Vodacom has now told me that i (the client) who is at no fault must "now pay the arrears amount before they can migrate me back to my original package(so wait it is still an existing package??) yet another lie.
So, at no fault of my own as the client, Vodacom will only help once I have paid THEIR arrears amount. I do not throw the POPI act around but in this specific case. The consumer education is the most detailed it has ever been. I am currently taking the matter further than just a hello Peter message.
I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
