Vodacom's Unfair Data Rules (Last In First Out)
On the 21st January I checked my data balance for my Vodacom cellphone account and I saw to my surprise that I had zero data available. To avoid out-of-bundle rates I purchased a 2GB data bundle valid for 30 days. Later that week their system showed I actually had data left (on 21st) and I therefore unnecessarily bought the 2GB data.

What is more frustrating is that Vodacom's business rule (Last In First Out) forces me to first use the 2GB bundle (which I didn't really need) and which will only expire on the 20th of February, before I am able to use my other data. Now, instead of using the 2GB over 30 days, the only way for me to use all of my available data is to use the 2GB and the remaining balance on my other data within 9 days.

I am therefore complaining about inaccurate information on Vodacom's system regarding data balances, but more importantly about the business rule for order of consumption being \Last In First Out". This rule seems to be the wrong way around and forces Vodacom's customers to lose out on existing (older) data balances. First depleting bundles with the \""shortest validity / earliest expiry\"" will be a fair rule"
