Vodacom ****s their customers
I got a call from a Vodacom consultant who was offering me a better deal according to her (getting more airtime instead of SMSs), told her I'd think about it so she must call the following day. She then went on and did a migration that I didn't consent to. I was initially paying R289 p/m now my bill says I need to pay R477 p/m. It was to my surprise when I saw SMSs saying "your migration has been successful". I then called Vodacom and they said the only thing they can do is to reverse the migration but because I received the airtime (that I haven't even used), I must pay R477 at the end of the month. I am so frustrated and angry because I paid twice in January so that I wouldn't have to pay in February due to expenses I want to cover and now I'm forced to make a payment for something I did not authorize and consent to. The worst thing? When I call back the Vodacom number it says "number does not exist". Vodacom isn't trust worthy, they just want you to keep paying till you don't even know what you are paying for. They use ************ to get their way and that's abuse. Their employees are ****mers because how can one authorize a payment without notifying me or sending me SMSs to approve any changes to my account. The consultant I just spoke to expressed that there has been a customer with a similar complaint and she was forced to pay that amount she didn't consent to, so you'll wonder how many victims are out there who are being ****med by Vodacom. I regret taking a phone contract with them and I want to cancel my contract as, if they were able to do this now, who's to say they won't do it again with an even bigger amount? Vodacom ****s people and we need justice!
