VODACOM'S SHOCKING SERVICE - Problem still not resolved after 19 months

About 4 to 5 years ago I took a cellphone contract with Vodacom for two i-phone 5 cellphones one for myself and one form my daughter both on the Smart S contract.

About 2 years ago Jan 2016 we where due for an upgrade ,so I went into a a vodcom store at the Glen Shopping centre.

I decided only to upgrade my daughters phone to an i phone 6 on the U Choose flexi program. I signed the contract for the upgrade of my daughters phone only.

Here is where my never ending problem began.

Two months later , I found that my phone would cut-off mid way through the month. After some investigation by phoning the Vodacom customer centre it was found that my cell phone contract and not my daughters cell-phone had been incorrectly changed to the U-Choose flexi contract and I was running out of air time . i explained to them there was a mistake that my contract was incorrectly updated ,and was told they cannot help only the store can help.

So to the store I returned with the copy of the contract as proof and they where quick to admit their error blaming the new system for the error. They then supposedly updated the fault on the system to update my daughters contract to the U-choose flexi contract and to return my contract back to the Smart S . They said it could not be done immediately but would update only at the end of the month. However it took 3 months to resolve after many trips to the store and phone calls to the call centre.

However to my dismay they still got it wrong , they updated my daughters contract correctly to the U-Choose flexi contract but did not revert my contract back to the Smart S ,they left it on the U-Choose flexi Contract .

To make matters worse the system also showed that I had also received a new i-phone 6 which was not the case , my daughter had received one but not me. So many calls to the call -centre and trips to the vodacom store in the glen shopping centre and another 3 months later ,the contract was finally corrected. My phone contract was returned to the status quo in August 2016, i.e to the Smart S and the i- phone 6 I never received removed from the system.

1 month later on receiving my Vodocam statement I noticed they where charging me for a handset I did not have. (They are still charging me for a new i-phone 6 which I never received ,Im still using my old iphone 5).

It is now July 2017 almost a year later after many calls to the Vodacom customer service centre and many reference numbers and admittance of their errors and promising to correct the situation, I'm still getting no joy.

What must I do to get service from this shocking service provider called VODACOM.

They are quick to take money from me account when I exceed my data useage but are not prepared to reimburse me for a handset they are incorrectly billing me for

Annoyed Customer.
