Vodacom''s response is **********
I recently bought a new Samsung tablet, and had to do a simple sim swap as my previous device had been ****** and I wanted to keep my old number. After having successfully done this in store I was told to wait four hours for activation. After not having activated after 24 hours, I called back to see what went wrong. They re-submitted the simple swap and told me to wait another four hours. This happened four times again, and still no sim activation. I then went to visit a local vodacom store that informed me that my simply was still locked from when I had had the device ******, the man then proceeded to unlock it and told me to wait another four hours. After four hours, the simple was not active. I called Brooklyn Vodacom, where they formed me that the device was still locked. They AGAIN unlocked it and told me to wait four hours. No success. They then informed me that the simple was faulty and that I should come back to get a new simply, which also didn't work. So after having informed them AGAIN, they seem to have given up on trying to help with to use my device purchased from VODACOM. I have left my working number with them, but no one has followed up.
