Vodacom's Out of Box Warranty is a lie!!!!!!

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S8 from the Vodacom Blairgowrie shop and my sim card was activated on 18.05.2017. On Saturday afternoon when i made a call, there was no sound, the call was answered by the other person but i could not hear them nor could they hear me. Thereafter there was no sound at all on the phone. It went on for about 15 minutes and then i switched off the phone and on again and it was working. It was late Saturday afternoon so the shop would have been closed and i thought it was just a once off with the phone. It happened again on Monday and Tuesday and then i called the shop and went to them on Tuesday afternoon. I was then told that they have to send it to Vodacom to check the fault. However when i purchased the phone i was told that if there is a fault with the phone I would get a new once. At that time i was not told that the phone would have to be sent in for confirmation from Vodacom regarding it being faulty. I was told to bring the box and all of the contents in order for them to send the phone in. On 24.05.2017 I dropped of the phone with the box and all of its contents. The phone was sent to Vodacom and then after over a week I was told that they "tested" the phone, i dont know if they just made 1 phone call and it was working and they called that "testing". I was told that they will not be replacing the phone with a new one and nothing is wrong with it. My concern is that if i accept the phone as is and this occurs in a few weeks time, then i am out of my OBW, then the phone will be repaired. Why should i then have to wait further for it to be repaired when the fault was logged with them within the 7 days warranty. I went into the Vodacom shop on 03.06.2017 and told them that i do not want this phone, I want a new phone and they need to send this back to Vodacom else I will be cancelling my contract. Danielle has been very helpful in assisting me at the Vodacom shop, however the feedback has been very slow since i refused to take the phone and there is no feedback from the store, i need to constantly call in and am told that I will get a call back with feedback but have heard nothing. This issue has been going on for several weeks now and if Vodacom cant honour their Out of Box warranty then they should not be telling their cleints that they will get a new phone if problems occur within 7 days. This is a LIE.
