Vodacom's negligence costs me thousands

In 2014, I quit my job and wanted to keep my number, which was linked to the account of the law firm I was working for. Vodacom told me that this could not be done and I had to obtain a private cell contract with a different number. I opened this new account and found that my surname reflected incorrectly on Vodacom's records. I completed paperwork required to fix it and trusted that this would be done. In 2015, I realised that my debit orders to Vodacom were not being deducted from my account. I enquired about this and discovered that Vodacom has been deducting my cell phone bills from my former employer's bank account. I also found that my surname was never corrected. I requested that my bill be seperated and once again instructed them that I want my own account with my banking details for my cellphone. The next month, I discovered that some of my former employers' celphone accounts have also been transferred to my account. I was now indebted to my former boss and paying half of their cellphone bills. I had to request that this be sorted out three times before it was done. It is a month later and my new problem is that Vodacom's *111# customer care line seldom [URL Removed] error
