Vodacom's "get played every day"

I saw Vodacom's new "Play Every Day" promotion and decided to give it a shot; thinking "why not? what do I have to lose?" I go through the Terms and Conditions to have a look, you're sent marketing messages after the promotion- I still see no problem.

Then I tried it out; won a song first time around. And nothing ever again.

Essentially all Vodacom has done is allowed its users a promise of free gifts and getting spammed marketing messages.

Dear Client

I understand your concerns, however you are able to opt out from receiving these promotional messages. The Value Added Services Team also removed your number from their database to receive any marketing information.

Kind regards
