Vodacom's extremely POOR service

Upgrade on internet contract ********** 472 refers.

Problem 1: *****'s on the client helpline as well as in the Vodacom shops.

Problem 2: The sim card's LTE service were not activated. After three telphone calls and two visits to Vodacom shops, this service was eventually activated - Amen!

Problem 3: Since the upgrade date the data has been loaded as a recurring bundle.

Problem 4: Therefore it is IMPOSSIBLE to monitor the day or even the night time data. The day time data can be monitored but only if you proceed through the menu to check under recurring bundles. The night owl data cannot be monitored at all! A service request was logged at the start of the upgrade (beginning of May 2017) with a closing date on 25 May 2017. Today when I followed up, I was told that the service request was closed with no result. My call was forwarded to the Solutions center (William) whom received the message incorrectly and cut me off - another ***** added to Vodacom's payroll....

For info: The sim card is in a router and therefore it is logical that calls cannot be received on the number nor can SMS's be received; in case another ***** asks me this question!

I am writing this review since all other avenues lead to my frustration with the "service" or the lack thereof rather.

Reviewer Update

A consultant by the name of Dane larson did make contact. He showed me to be at fault beacause a SMS can be sent from the router. I asked him for an email for in case it did not work, AND if course I was supp**** with "the wool over the eyes" a complimentary databundle for free.

I tested the advice given with negative results. I consecuently emailed the consultant twice with no response. I am therefore running out of options. Vodacom's costomer service is now last in line of the service providers. Vodacom seem to employ uneducated simple-minded stupid pass-the-buck people with NO sense of what customer service really means. I do not know how many times I must repeat the same story and to how many "air *******". Last but not least - It does not matter how many carrots you hang out there - If the customer's problem is not solved then IT IS NOT SOLVED. PROCESSING AND ESCALING DOESN'T HELP!!! AT SOME STAGE SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP..................
