Vodacom's despicable disregard for customer service

I cancelled one contract with Vodacom in the latter part of 2015, and a second contract at the end of 2015. December 2015 was meant to be my last debit, but I noticed that I was debited again in January, so I reversed the debit. This happened in February 2016 again, so, once again, I reversed the debit. I then got a demand from Vodacom saying that I needed to settle an outstanding amount. When I queried this, I was told that the amount was for overdue for the first contract I cancelled. Amount was about R220. Because of the time that elapsed (without me being notified) and the two debit order reversals, I now owed R643. End of April 2016 I made this payment via EFT. Beginning of May 2016 I was debited for the same amount by Vodacom. Since then, I have called numerous times, spoken to a superviser, have been redirected from pillar-to-post without being reimbursed (even though this is indicated on their system) or their system updating the payment.

This has negatively affected my credit score and has thus affected a recent home loan application. My credit rating shows R643 in arrears, for an account I settled, and was double charged for. Vodacom charged me exorbitant interest for the outstanding amount on my first contract, will they reimburse the amount they owe me, with 9 months interest at the same rate they charged me? I'm not holding my breath.

I am at my wits end as no one in their organisation seems capable of merely updating an account as paid up, even though I have submitted proof of payment via email four times and fax three times. I was told on numerous occassions it will be updated, ... nothing yet.
