Vodacom's ability to ignore their clients

In November 2014 one of our company phones raked up a bill of R3408.05 for 5GB of data. Vodacom sends us data bundle notifications, but in November we did not receive this. Theres are courtesy sms's (as we found out later). Should we have purchased the 5BG as prepaid (as we do every month), the fee for this would have been R399. Isn't this a *******??

Since December, we have tried to resolve this matter, but having to hold for the call center for 30-45 min each time, and then being disconnected as they answer, has left me very frustrated. In February 2015, our lines was suspended, even after speaking to a consultant in January and settling the subscription fee (only the amount for the data query was outstanding). All our line with Vodacom has now once again been suspended.

The matter has received a case number, and we have come to a settlement, but once again, all our lines have been hard locked by Vodacom, and Vodacom needs to finalize the matter on their side, not us. This is now the 5 time this month.

After being a loyal customer of Vodacom for the past 12 years, we have decided to cancel all our contract with Vodacom.

Hello HDKruger,

We do thank you for the posting.

The matter will be referred to a consultant who will investigate and assist with resolution.

Kind regards
