Vodacom robbing their customers
I received one of those calls that annoys me most, and yet I listened and in the end accepted the offer of migration on my 3 contracts, on the understanding that it is going to cost me less than my current amounts. I asked the agent more than once, is he sure I am going to pay less? Every time he said yes.... my first bill arrived during November... a wopping R1 600 more than usual!! I immediately called and asked to cancel the migrations. Somebody from Vodacom called a day or 2 later... they listened to the recording of that call and I agreed that I understand and accept the offers. I asked him, did he hear that I asked and agreed on the condition that it is going to cost less? I cannot afford R5000 a month on cell phone contract!!! He promised to discuss it with the appropriate persons and get back the following day. Which never happened. End November the debit order did not go through because I do not have that amount available for cell phone contracts??? Now the new account came... again about R700 more than what it used to be.
I am annoyed, disappointed and so fed up with these telesales people who are always insisting on talking you into something with empty promises. I do not have the money to pay these bills... and will now most probably loose my number which I had for the last 30 years... the only number I have ever had since I got my first contract.
If you guys want to record calls and conversations, make sure to listen carefully to everything. I will never recommend Vodacom again, and as my contracts get closer to expiry, I am going to port my numbers to any body else but Vodacom. They do not get back to you, if you call you are on a damn computer pressing the one number after the other and no damn joy!!! Nobody has the time anymore to hang on to a phone for almost an hour and not being helped...
POOR POOR customer services!!!
