Vodacom robbing pensioner and refused to cancel contract
My mother had a business contract with her Company. When she retired the contract was transferred to her name. In August she called in to cancel the contract and she was informed that the contract is cancelled effective end of that month. In October R338 was deducted from her acount. She then called in again and spoke to Ntombi who at the end of the call confirmed that the contract is cancelled and a refund will be paid. Now in November an amount of R778 is deducted and yesterday we called in to cancel and request a refund of the two amounts R338 and R778 and cancel the contract. We were taken from pillar to post and told that the number is on the old system and ultimately got through to Glenda who once again indicated that the contract has been cancelled. She indicated that our reference number for the complaint is S4-3X723V-VKISC. Can I get my mothers hard earned monies refunded, she is a pensioner and absolute disgrace that Vodacom is treating her in this manner.
