Vodacom ripping me off

In February 2023 I got a contract with Vodacom, a data sim contract that came with a pocket router. 4 months down the line I realize that I am always running out of data so I contact vodacom and tell them that I want to upgrade my contract in order to get one that better meet my need for data, to my surprise they told me that it is impossible for to do that because my contract is for 3 years ( of which I didn't agree to), and that if only I had gotten the sim card then it would be possible, but since I also included the pocket router in my contract (which costs R400 cash), I now have to pay R12000 if I want out of this contract, the consultan told me that I am now STUCK with it, mind you I don't even want to cancel my contract, just wanted to see if I could something that would be better suited for my needs. So now because I included a router that is worth R400, i cannot get any assistance, and if I want out of the contract I must pay R12 000...honestly pay R12 000 for a router that costs R400. Anybody who can assist cause vodacom wants to rob me blind here 😢😢😢🥺🥺💨
