Vodacom RIPP off

Ref Vodacom Ref. ticket # 1- ********** ********** on the 10th of June After receiving my monthly invoice from Vodacom I noticed their was an annual increase on my contract by 26%. This is nowhere near the inflation rate and I feel this unfair and is bullying practice by Vodacom. 11 June 2018 on noticing this I phoned 082 111, as that is the only point of contact with Vodacom as they refuse to give you any other means of Contact. I spoke to Momkuneka that someone at Vodacom should explain to me how they justify an annual increase of 26%. The is way over the inflation rate and is therefore absurd for such a high increase. I was informed that they notified us there will be an annual increase by SMS which I don't dispute. The fact that this increase is 26% is the dispute. She referred me to their Back office with ticket # 1- ********** ********** . I was promised a reply by the 20th June latest. I also spoke to Winnie from the Customer care office and explained her my complaint. as their seems to be a misunderstanding . I don't dispute that I was notified of an annual increase but I am questioning the percentage of the increase. She promised that she personally would come back to me as she agreed a 26% increase is absurd. 13 June 2018 I received 2 smses from Vodacom that abovementioned ticket is resolved and therefore closed. I received no communication from Vodacom or any explanation in this regard. I therefore phoned back again speaking to Tanya that promised me the same that she will follow up with back office why this ticket was closed. She would get Momkuneka to phone me back to get this resolved. She did so and asked them to send me an e-mail. 14 June 2018 I received an e-mail attached to this mail that informs me they can increase their annual increase by whatsoever they want and if I am not satisfied, I should contact you. Conclusion. This practice by Vodacom is totally unacceptable and I think all users must be made aware of their malpractices. I am a Pensioner and my budget is extremely tight. By what right do they feel they can increase my payment by a quarter of the payment without any justification
