Vodacom / Rewardsco scaamming of innocent customers

I received a call from a "gentleman" by the name of R.Moodley yesterday evening 02 Dec '19, who claimed to be calling from Vodacom, claiming that Vodacom wants to reward me as a valued customer. I was going to receive significantly higher services and my subscriptions was going to reduce from R813 to R759 per month. Since he was able to read all my personal details out to me (instead of me providing it), I accepted this offer. However something felt wrong and I immediately contacted Vodacom Customer Care to confirm the validity of this offer. I was then advised by Lindo that the migration is legit, but it was done by an outsourced company that Vodacom is contracted with. However, instead of paying a reduced rate of R759, My subscriptions was now going to increase to over R1200 per month. Needless to say I instructed him to cancel this thing, which he could not do, but logged a request for. I also spoke with a Megan later and she advised that I phone Vodacom Sales Desk on *** in the morning and they would be able to arrange the cancellation whilst I am on the phone with them. I did this and spoke with Londi, who put me through to Tyrone at the Company called "Rewardsco". After a lengthy discussion and "apologies" from himself Tyrone cancelled the deal and sent me an sms to confirm. Sadly minutes later I received another sms implying that the migration have been reactivated, which was confirmed when I immediately contacted Vodacom helpdesk again. I was again put through to Rewardsco and spoke with a Ndumiso, who advised that he will escalate this matter and bring the ***** R.Moodley to book. He also AGAIN cancelled the reopened "deal". It is disgusting that Vodacom have stooped to the level of associating itself with a low-life thieving company of this nature. It clearly indicates that Vodacom is no better itself. I am contacting Cape Talk radio tomorrow morning during the morning show 06:00 to 09:00 and making the innocent non-suspecting public aware of this sick **** in which Vodacom and Rewardsco are busy with. S****ing the bottom of the barrel to say the least.

Given the other similar concerns I have read on Hellopeter, I won't even place a worthless 1c bet on being called back... let alone that this **** will be discontinued or even just addressed.
