Vodacom rewards manipulative

I was misled into migrating to a higher price plan by vodacom rewards. The lady from Vodacom rewards called me and told me about the option to change my package, have SMS's taken off as I do not use them. She told me that was not going to affect my premium, but to my surprise, my premium went from R578.99 to R713.00.

I lodged a dispute, to which I was informed was invalid. I requested the call record because "CALLS ARE RECORDED FOR QUALITY PURPOSES, blah blah". They told me the recording was loaded to my profile and I could access it at any Vodacom shop. Poor me, I went to the Vodacom shop and was told the recording was not available. The migration did not take long to complete but it's taking forever for me to access the record. The same record that Vodacom has access to. I was told Vodacom had to also listen to the recording then they'd get back to me. Nonsense of note!

They took me back to my original plan, but it's now R609. Another nonsense. I get misled, and made to pay for that. The rewards are a **** of note!!!!

So I called Vodacom rewards and told them about the recording. At 1:22 Emily says migrating will not change what I am currently paying. They told me to listen to the rest of the call. What I learn and conclude is that Vodacom and their rewards partners trick people to pay more. I do not recall Emily saying "by the way ma'am, change of plans, you are going to be billed more".
Be careful before signing anything with Vodacom
