Vodacom Rewards for customer loyalty are a ripoff

Never accept any rewards from vodacom or 'cheaper' from any vodacom sale person. You will be ********. I had the rewards department of vodacom direct call me to say that because I have been a long standing client that they would increase my data at no extra cost. Through out the call I continually said I was sceptical and asked if the would be admin cost or monthly cost changes to which the person said no. Not to my surprise this month (July 2020) my bill went from R576 to R2500+. All my contracts connected to my account had admin cost and the monthly rate had increased. I phoned in an was put through to rudest consultant ever at vodacom direct. She said i had 2 options to cancel or to have the call reviewed. I chose to have the contracts cancelled because I wanted to be sure that the 2500+ did not come off my account. Dear Vodacom Customer, we trust you enjoyed the service experience. I got this "Your query with ref number *** has been closed. We value your continues support as Loyal Vodacom Customer" Well nothing was done. The original amount still came of my account. And if you review all my account the was only a reversal on the Main account all the other attached accounts still have the increased premium and admin fees. Thanks vodacom. But if this is the value that you give your loyal customers then, No Thank You. You have to keep me as a customer

Thanks vodacom for making the effort to refund my the difference. Just worried that my future payments still reflect the new tarriffs when these contracts were supposed to have been s****ped.
I was told it would happen on the first. It's the 6th now.
