Vodacom / Reward Co

At the end of May 2020, I received a phone call from Bradley (cell ***), on behalf of Vodacom. He was very professional in explaining the reason for his call. He explained to me that I was due for an upgrade on my 0824*7*02*, and that I could save money. And as an added benefit, I was rewarding a mobile router for being a valued Vodacom client for more than 10 years. I’ve explained to Bradley that I don’t need any extra data as we are on fibre and does have more enough data available. He then explained to me that he would change my packet that I can still save money. I’ve made it very clear from the beginning, and confirm a few times, that the cell nr in question was 0824*7*02*. And the only devices in service are my iphone and ipad(ipad only data as per contract Oct 2019). On 2nd of June the router was delivered. I never opened it, as I don’t need a router. We’ve got a mobile router, but it was a gift from Vodacom for being a loyal customer for the more than 10 years. Fault on my side, I never checked my Vodacom bill up until yesterday and see that I am paying almost R600.00 more, and there are 2 tel numbers (I believe it is the 2 tablets that are no longer in use) with the amount of R391 & R300.77 billed. This is not what we have discussed and agreed on. Luckily I’ve kept Bradleys cell nr, I phoned the nr earlier today and learned that it was Reward Co acting on behalf of Vodacom. I was unsuccessful in getting hold of Bradley: sms or what app. I’ve send a complaint to Reward Co via a platform for businesses, there are no “complaints section”. I am furious and utterly disappointment in Vodacom by making use of such ********* company. This is ***** and I am demanding Vodacom to pay all the money back since June 2020, and cancel the contract done by Bradley. I hope the call was recorded, so that Vodacom can listen to call. If no feedback on paying back the money and cancel the contract (done by Bradley – ***) from Vodacom and or Reward Co, I will take them to the Ombudsman. Marlene Koen

This is totally ridiculous! 1stly, I need to call Vodacom re my complaint: " Kindly be advised that we were not able to make contact with you. Please call 082135 for any further assistance." I've tried a couple of times: either they experience high call volumes or give me an update re my account - no option re my complaint. I did informed Vodacom accordingly. Tried again today = the same old story, The cherry on the cake is that Reward Co tried to get hold of me, I've tried to call them back on ***, voicemail instruct me to contact them via their website. There are no place to lodge the complaint on their website. . So if no feedback via sms or email as requested by COB today, I will contact the ombudsman.
