Vodacom retention ****, 14 day cool-off period ****, Exploiting Elderly during lockdown
Vodacom sent me from pillar to post and numerous calls and emails to cancel my contract which i never used, but instead after paying cancellation fees and expected to go into the Vodacom stores during covid lockdown, they renewed my contract and used the cancellation fee for the monthly debits.
Their 14 day cool off period is a **** because when you call or email to cancel within that 14 day period they tell you that they have already renewed the contract for 24 months and you now have to pay a ridiculous cancellation fee to terminate. Vodacom please stop exploiting the elderly with your ****s and expecting us to go out to your stores during lockdown.
