Vodacom Retention/ Oupa / Thabiso / Hipercia/ False info and horrible service

I have contacted Vodacom to the point that I have reached a limit on the 111 number and should phone them back in the next month.

I started the process of cancelling my Vodacom contract at the beginning of December as Cell C offered a better deal, I was then put through to a department called retentions. I first started speaking to Oupa who **** promises of getting back to me. I contacted him a few times as he was doing, what they call a deal match, and it sounded promising. But struggled to get hold of him, always leaving messages with different agents who would pass the message.

In January I started the process again as I am interested in the I Phone Xs on a unlimited contract, I spoke to Thabiso who also made promises that he could not keep. I decided that it is time to start speaking to a manager as this is not on. I was introduced to Hipercia, the so called team leader at the "retentions department" I informed her of my unhappiness towards Vodacom. She assited and Thabiso got back to me with a deal. When he phoned me he said that the premium is lower and the phone has a larger storage capacity, which did not bother me as I was happy with the 64 GB I Phone Xs I accepted. I made it very clear that this is not an XR but the Xs or the Exis as Thabiso calles it. He confirmed. On receipt of the phone on the 22 of January, close to two months after I started this process, I noticed that this was not what we have discussed. I then contact Hipercia who could recall that I was the client who does not have any interest in an XR. I expressed my unhappiness again as now I was **** to, it was not just a horrible service experience anymore. She said that I need to courier the phone back (RAM tracking number: COL ********** 5. When the handset is back at Vodacom she will be able to get me the 256GB on the same premium as there was no 64 GB IPhone Xs Stock, and it also did not come in the 128GB as Thabiso has informed me. I had faith that she would be able to come to the party as I would have my contract activated before the end of the week as this is my main priority. After the above conversation I never heard from her again and could not get hold of her on the number she supp**** me with ********** 579.

Now I was furius, I started phoning trying to get her managers details, email address or telephone number, every agent says they will get me the details and puts me on hold for 10 to 30 min. I think you should be able to read between the lines, I never got the details of Hipercia's manager.

I **** contact with Thabiso and requested that he get me the recordings of our discussions. Also did not get back to me on this.

I received a call out of the blue on Tuesday 05/02/2019 this week from Thabiso saying that they now have stock and can give it to me at the price that was discussed as they have listened to the recordings and could confirm that they will honor what was said. I struggled to get hold of him once again leaving messages. Thursday after about 5 messages to contact me Thabiso phones to inform me that the price has now changed.

I honestly feel that Vodacom has waisted my time and that the staff at the retentions department has not done anything to assist me. I don't want free things in life as I am a firm believer in paying the price. I was **** to on more than one occasion. This is a principal thing. I hope Vodacom will be able to show some back bone and set right what their employees have done wrong.

Vodacom has an automatic reply bot. I have had no satisfaction from Vodacom. I received a call from the back office yesterday due to the fact that I sent through a mail duplicating my letter on hello peter to management at Vodacom. He mentioned that he would get back to me during the course of the day. I am still waiting for his call. As I understand Vodacom is now honoring the monthly installment but they do not have stock of the phone I Phone XS 64GB. I find it unacceptable that Hipercia still has not gotten back to me and rely on the rest of the staff at Vodacom to clean up her mess. She **** promises that she could not keep that was confirmed by the gentleman in the back office. She mentioned at the late January that she will make a plan to get the phone through to me and the contact activated in order to have the service running from 1 February 2019 even if it means that she has to get the 256GB. I dont care about the size of the phone as long as I get the right phone, I Phone XS. We are nearing the end of February and I see this problem might go over to March
