Vodacom repairs Sandton

Good evening,

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Vodacom Repairs in Sandton. I purchased a Samsung phone from the PEP Store in Alexandra in October 2024. Just six months later, the phone became blocked and started rejecting the PIN I had set up. Since it was still under warranty, I took it back to the PEP Store for repairs.

The staff at PEP mentioned that many customers have recently experienced issues with Samsung phones. I handed the phone over in perfect condition — no dents, scratches, or damage. However, when it was returned from the head office, the phone was damaged on the side and had a visible scratch, with part of the purple casing now showing white.

What’s worse is that the original issue was not resolved — the phone was still blocked with the same PIN problem. I returned it again for repairs, only to later receive a call from the Vodacom repair department informing me that I now need to pay over R300 to fix the phone, despite it being under warranty.

This experience has been frustrating and unacceptable.
