VODACOM REPAIRS MENLYN
Vodacom charged me R7500 to fix my phone after it fell in water. Said they had to replace everything inside. A smaller cellphone shop fixed my phone for R750 and said it was only my power button and charging system. Vodacom did not even bother to look at the problems. Just saw water on my report and said everything must be replaced. Terrible service. I have a new Samsung Galaxy A71.

02 Jun 2021, 11:50Good day,
I am not satisfied with the private response.
Just because another smaller cellphone shop fixed my phone, it does not take away the problem I have with Vodacom.
Please explain why did Vodacom not open up my phone and did a proper examination to acknowledge the areas that needs to be fixed ?
Even when I asked the technician why does it costs so much, the reply was because it fell in water and everything needs to be replaced. This is pathetic services!
Why do I need to keep using Vodacom's services ?
Why do I need to take out insurance if it won't even cover the cost of being fixed and if the fixing is overcharged due to incompetence and neglectance.
How will Vodacom fix this issue ?
How will Vodacom take responsibility for their actions and consequences ?
