Vodacom repairs for device

I booked my phone in for repairs at the Vodacom chatz branch in Greenstone shopping center on the 2nd of March . I was advised the repairs would take about 7 to 14 working days. When I tracked the repairs with my job number, it says it is to be sent to the nearest repairs center almost 4 weeks later! I called Vodacom and the consultant advised me that this is what the small Vodacom shops do. They book your phone in, wait until they have approximately 7 other phones in order to courier them to the repair center. If I was advised of this, I would not have booked it in there! Also, what is the point of paying for Vodacom insurance if it will be such a hassle to have my device fixed? I want my device returned and fixed as soon as possible!!!
