Vodacom Repairs damage my Phone
In June 2015, I took my cell phone to Vodacom repairs in Eastgate Mall. The problem with the phone was sim card holder. I was quoted R500 and had accepted the quotation. In October 2015 I got an sms to collect my fone but the fone had not been repaired and I was told by the person who gave me the fone to take it to Samsung repairs. When I took the fone to Vodacom it was working( could turn on) but when I got it back it was not turning on. I kept the fone in my house and Recently took the same fone back to the same shop and was quoted R2058. the problem was mother board, I was told. Meaning the first person who attempted to repair the fone damaged the mother board and the fone was returned to me not repaired and was advised to take to Samsung repairs. Why wasn't advised to take the fone to Samsung the very first time I went to Vodacom repairs. At some stage when I went to check the progress of the fone, nobody knew where it was due to the shop undergoing renovations.<br>
