Vodacom Repairs Cape Town Hub damaged my phone and won't take responsibility..
On the 11th of January 2020 I took my phone in to Vodacom Vangate Mall for repairs. There was no power even with a hard reset. They sent it to Vodacom Repairs Cape Town Hub in Maitland. I was called on the 28th of January to collect my phone. My phone was fixed however it was scratched so badly. I told them that I didn't want the phone like that. I would like the screen replaced. I signed a device inspection confirmation document stating that there were no scratches or dents or no physical damage on my phone. On the 11th of February I went back to find out about my phone. Vodacom Repairs Cape Town Hub sent the phone back saying that the phone was scratched and that they will not be taking responsibility for the scratches. The staff at Vodacom Vangate mall even said that there was no scratches on my phone. Brandon was the technician who worked on my phone and the person in charge Sunet Strydom refuse to take any calls from the public. My phone is now at Vodacom Vangate mall. Still badly scratched. I have a Samsung S9 plus. There wasn't a single scratch on my phone because it's expensive and I look after it. If I take my phone back as is, it will mean that they will do this to the next customer too.
