Vodacom repairs cant repair, they take your money and still give you back the broken phone

I am so very dissapointed in the service and lack of attention to the customer service at the Vodacom in Cape Quarter, Cape Town. I have been dealing with them for years when they were still a large shop in Somerset street and have always had pleasant service and the best repairs division I have seen.

This time around, I took my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge in because the the back cover was cracked and when speaking to someone, you can hear them, but they cant hear you. The repair guy looked at it, told me it was this and that and he would have it sorted. a week later i was told to come and fetch the phone as it was repaired. I collected, paid R 2600 and odd and took it home to Fish hoek (Which is miles away from Cape Town Centre). Only to find out that the back glass had been repaired but the phone still having the same problem with mic.

I proceeded to take it back and advise them......then things went downhill. They kept calling me and telling me to fetch phone as it was repaired, I kept telling them to test it for at least a day, which they never did and gave it back to me still broken.....This went on for six times back and forward from fish hoek tp town centre, costing me hundreds and hundreds in petrol and not to mention my time I had to take away from work. On the very last time, I decided to test them and put a marking on the cover where they would have to split it.

They returned the phone once again, saying that they repaired it and opened it up and it was this and that and so on.........the mark was still there. Never opened up at all. I had to discover that the phone actually works perfectly when on a whats app call, so all of this we replaced the mic was ******* and was not even the problem or issue. I know sit with a phone that I paid R 2600 and odd to repair and incurring a massive petrol cost only for to be stored away. What do I do know.........I just want my phone fixed as promised

Dear Vodacom. I got a call from one of your Employees who had a long discussion with about how we were going to go forward. He said he would call the store manager and organise it that I take the phone back and call me back. He duly called me back and said that the store manager has been notified and will be calling me back to make arrangements.....It has been about a week now and no phone-call from store manager

Surprise surprise, again I have had no reply from you and no phone calls. I am giving this another week until I head to the ombudsman or icasa and let them sort this out
