Vodacom “repaired” my cellphone for 8 months and refuse to return my phone

I sent my phone (Huawei P9 with Leica cam) for repairs to Vodacom in August 2017. I was given updates about the status of the repair until November. After that there was silence and I went to Vodacom to ask where my phone is. I was told not to come back until they tell me my phone is ready. I still haven’t gotten my phone back from their repair centre. When I sent it in it was a few months old and worth R14000 if I had bought it in cash. I won’t be renewing my contract with Vodacom and I’m taking the rest of my family off it as well. There are way too many unpleasant experiences with Vodacom.

They’ve also started debiting my account with R11 every time I top up my contract and it’s apparently because I borrow airtime from Vodacom, which I’ve never done and don’t even know how to borrow airtime on a contract phone.

Very disappointed but excited to leave this *********** provider.
