Vodacom Repaird Samsung A5 Battery Explodes Screen

Wife's Samsung Galaxy A5 in her pocket, started to burn, took out, saw screen was cracked & lifted 2 mm above phone. Handed in at Hatfield repair centre 11-11-2015, received feedback later with quote to replace screen no word on battery? I complained as the phone was still new (04-2015) and the faulty (\Exploding") battery caused damaged to the screen en rest of the phone? After a few complaints I was on a conference call with a Vodacom agent and the manager (VD) at the repair centre who informed me that the battery needed replacement as it was out of warranty (6 months) - What about exploding an causing the screen to crack? The manager informed me that there was nothing indicating that the battery was faulty and supp**** me a quote to replace the screen - WOW? I complained and was informed that the matter was escalated to a different Advanced Repair Centre. Received a voicemail a few days back that the phone was not repaired and available for collection at Hatfield?????? My question: First I received an Quote to replace the screen"
