Vodacom Repair Centre Umhlanga Service Is Unacceptable

On the 12/01/2017, I Booked in my LG G5 handset at Vodacom Repair Centre in Umhlanga, which is still under a 24 month contract . My Screen was cracked which was under the 12 month, 1 screen repair cover. As a repair centre for Vodacom, documents are supposed to be requested & submitted as it was an insurance claim. I was contacted by Ms Harisha saying my claim had been declined. Said I was to phone Cellsure myself to find out why. Agent said that IMEI number is not correct, which I realised that the initial handset was faulty and replaced. I was then asked to send proof of swop out form for both handsets which I did send to Harisha, even then I was told to deal direct with Cellsure. Today I get an SMS declining the claim again & immediately phoned me asking for even more documents. My question that is bothering me, why do I have to run around for documents where the repair centre can easily request for from Vodacom. I do not have to make unnecessary phone calls as if I work for Vodacom, as I'm sure Vodacom will furnish any documents regarding the claim.

This has frustrated me to the point where I think Vodacom customer service has dropped severely. This experience has left a sour taste & suggests that they do not take their customer satisfaction as a priority. This has just delayed the reapir even further which is really really frustrating.

Reviewer Update

There is still no joy to be found.Yesterday I had received an email stating I am required for updating IMEI no with Cellsure. When the initial faulty phone was exchanged I was not notified or made aware of updating such details with insurers. Today I spoke to Cellsure, who informed me the documents(which I had emailed) that supposedly required are not valid. I have no idea what else to do as these are the only documents I have been told(Vodacom) that proves the phone was exchanged. I have booked my phone on the 12/01/2017 and it is over a week trying to process this claim with insurers because of documents.

This is ridiculous as without my phone I am basically crippled with my banking & other basics.

Please, please, please resolve this urgently!
