Vodacom Repair Centre

On the 18.12.19 I took my phone to Vodacom Chatz in the Liberty Mall. The instrument functioned perfectly except it had bent, through no action of mine. I had taken it to another dealer and they checked the battery as apparently this made phones bend?????? The battery was perfect. As it was still under warranty they said go back to Vodacom. On the 28.01.20 I received a message saying it would cost R1658 to repair. When I telephoned I was informed that they had to replace the back cover and the glass, even though the glass was not damaged. I complained and the manager said it would go for a second opinion. NOTHING from Vodacom until I emailed them 13.03.20, the reply was since I had not responded (which is difficult to do when you have nothing to respond to) the instrument had been sent back to Chatz Midlands Mall. They had not seen fit to inform me either!! After several emails back and forth, I received a new quote for R3456 and was told that the second repair centre had no idea what the Vodadealers had quoted on, and the warranty was void because of the damage, case closed!!! Neither of the Vodacom head office emails I copied into the numerous emails bothered to respond to me. Customer service..............NO. I will be moving to MTN as soon as my contract expires in May.
