Vodacom refuses WRITTEN CANCELATION of contract

Vodacom, your customer care (should it be CUSTOMERS DON'T CARE?) as well as the outsourcing company dealing with cancelations have received my email instruction to terminate my cell phone contract (which expired January 2019). SR Number:***

This communication merely serves as a publicly served open letter to Vodacom as proof of the cancelation. I expect my cell nr to be on "prepaid" from 1 October as per the emailed cancelation notice.

Your SMS "Please contact *** for contract cancellation," will therfore be disregarded as it has zero validity pertaining to the Terms and Conditions of the contract, which clearly states that only WRITTEN NOTICE of CANCELATION is accepted.

Please tell me this is a joke?
Some completely senseless response a week later?
By the way, what is this nameless faceless "Vodacom website team"?

VODACOM OBVIOUSLY RECEIVED MY WRITTEN NOTICE OF CANCELATION as the contract required.
