Vodacom refuses to replace a brand new defective Huawei Pro 20

After my first letter to hellopeter, Vodacom, the specific Vodacom store as well as a Huawei expert contacted me. After many complaints the Vodacom store has decided to send my Huawei Pro 20 in to the Vodacom Repairs to investigate. They found that there was indeed a problem with the hardware. The cameras are faulty. What I cannot understand is why Vodacom refuses to replace my faulty phone when Huawei has a policy that they will replace any phone when it's a factory defect. To pay R20 000 for a phone that does not work is madness, furthermore Vodacom expects me to be grateful while they are raping me. I cannot understand why this is such an issue, why does Vodacom want to repair my phone with all new hardware in an old shell instead of replacing my phone. I told the Vodacom store from the very first day that my camera was faulty but they insisted that nothing was wrong. They told me that the phone will adapt to my style. Now that they have confirmation that there is a real problem they refuse to replace my phone. This is madness. #BelindaJoubert
