VODACOM REFUSES TO HELP AGAIN

I raised this issue before with still no joy from Vodacom. Long story short, someone sold my father (who has limited capacity following two strokes and due to ill health) an upgrade on his phone. He has never received an upgraded cell phone. And he does not need the upgrade as he does know how to use a smart phone, nor does he have access to wi-fi.

We have tried unsuccessfully to get Vodacom to give us a copy of the sales call and to tell us where the new phone was delivered to, as my dad is unable to pass the security questions (he doesn’t understand the technology, etc).

However, I cant understand that Vodacom was able to upgrade his contract without him passing any of those same security questions. Surely if my dad is unable to pass the security questions on a simple enquiry, it should have been impossible for someone to sell him an upgrade without passing the same security questions.

My dad is a destitute pensioner. This extra payment taking a HUGE ***** out of his meagre pension.

We have tried to resolve this so many times. Please, please can someone help.

I am overseas please contact my brother on the number provided. Please give us access to the sales call so we can hear what was said to my dad in the sales call. And find a way to resolve it going forward.
