Vodacom refuses to fix Huawei P8 Lite - Liquid Indicator Damage Warranty Shock

Job number ********** 7.

4 month old Huawei P8 Lite that has the problem where the wifi only works when you factory reset the phone. Then stops after you update your apps. Everything else on the phone works, except the wifi! This looks like a software problem to me, but Vodacom wont even look at it because the liquid indicator is red.

This was a huge shock because the phone is definitely taken care of and not exposed to all their theories of liquid damage. Also quoted R1994.20 for replacement.

What is so insulting is that this is something that was not even checked when i got bought the phone - it is assumed that the customer would know to check, i definitely would have looked if i had known. Also the service agents are not even interested in anything you have to say, they keep saying you should have checked and we always give out phones where the liquid indicator is working properly. "There can never be a problem with the liquid indicator." "We cant show you where the damage is, only that the liquid indicator is on"

Huawei and Vodacom have definitely found a way to take advantage of their customers by selling bad products with hidden loopholes in their warranties.
