Vodacom Refuses to Fix Debit order Mistake

I am taking this matter public due to Vodacom not attending to my enquiry. I will start on this platform and escalate the matter to social media and Newspaper.

I renewed my contract online early May 2018 from a R300pm phone to a R600PM phone. The phone was delivered and activated by a consultant who also briefed me and we discussed payments etc. Mid-month a debit order for 'device connection and admin' was debited from my bank account, this should not happen as it was an online upgrade.

End of May 2018 an amount of R2258.93 was debited from my bank account. I have contacted close to 30 consultants trying to understand the amount... It has been such a challenge for the past three weeks sorting this issue out. I was informed by one of the consultants that they are not authorised to tell me what the fault is, yet they can see the error is from their side. The query went on to the extent where I had to request my bank to reverse the debit order. Once the debit order was reversed, Vodacom started harassing me saying that the debit order was unsuccessful and I now owe them R3000.

I have tried to understand where the consultants are coming from but at the end of the day I am the client and Vodacom is the Service provider and my concerns should be thiers. I cannot fathom how they are able to detect that the debit order was reversed yet they cannot see that the debiot order amount itself is wrong. We are nearing another month end and they have once again added on another amount.

I have come to a point where I am really sick of talking about this issue, I have gone through their accounts, customer service, legal, subscriptions, sales and online department and yet not even one single human being who works for Vodacom has been able to assist me, instead I have been rather offered to return the handset.

I am on the verge of getting legal assistance about this matter...

My cellphone number is ********** 821, Vodacom needs to contact me ASAP with a solution this time around.

I have been provided with so many reference numbers since I have started this query... The matter has been escalated by so maNY CONSULTANTS, yet I guess it's not important enough for Vodacom... they would prefer to advise customers to leave them than rather fixing their own mistakes.

Reference Numbers: ********** ********** 6 ********** ********** 0

I will be posting this elsewhere until Vodacom decides to act accordingly.
