Vodacom Refuses to cancel contract and sends me round in circles. Worst Carrier in SA

I can't believe I actually have to come on here to write this but here we are... So I'd heard that cancelling contracts would be difficult so I decided to cancel it in advance before the contract was to expire.

First Incident: I called to cancel the contract and was told that for ~R135 I would be able to get X Gigabytes of data. I though okay I wanted to cancel but this actually sounds great. I accepted. Then... The next month rolled around and I was charged again for the full amount of my contract and the next month AND the next month... etc (At this point I should have been paying R135). Naturally I was pretty ****ed off so...

Second incident: I now go into the store to cancel the contract because I'm seriously annoyed. The person who assisted told me that he can see the "new" contract on the system but the person did not confirm it and that's why I've been getting charged the same. I then ask him to cancel the contract entirely because I've had enough of this ****. He then tells me that he CAN'T cancel the contract and that I need to do it on phone.... Oh boy... Here we go. (I have photos of all this)

Third Incident: I call Vodacom. Oh, and what do you know? I CANT CANCEL ON THE PHONE? Vodacom... Are you serious? Anyways the person in your call center tells me that I will be contacted within 48 hours to resolve this...

Fourth Incident: I was never contacted by Vodacom... It has been MONTHS now.

Fifth incident: I've blocked all debit orders since this seems the only way to stop these people *****ing my money. And apparently... This can damage my Credit rating? Vodacom! Cancel! My! Contract!

Vodacom... How can you be this damn terrible? People, do not get a contract. It isn't worth the pain. I vow to never EVER get another contract with Vodacom.
