VODACOM REFUSES TO CANCEL A CONTRACT AFTER CONTRACT EXPIRES!

My husband has been unemployed since March, we decided to cut expenses, calling Vodacom to advise we want our data contract to expire and we would not be able to continue using it after November, we called again in November and was told we would pay the last debit order on 1 Dec. NOW they are STILL sending us data and want to double deduct from us on 1 Feb!!! WE DO NOT HAVE MONEY - WE TOLD THEM! WE ASKED THEM TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT... When we call we spoke to KABUSHNI NAIDOO who advised that they suddenly cannot find the recording of the conversation of the call to where we asked to cancel (there were 3 of these calls by the way), there are no Managers to escalate calls to as they working from home. They cannot assist now. They don't know the details of their industry Ombudsman so we can take it further... Why does it feel like Vodacom WANTS to blacklist us??? We keep saying WE CANNOT PAY, WE HAVE CHILDREN TO FEED - PLEASE STOP THE SERVICE... but they refuse! How can we make it clear we cannot afford something? They will continue until they discredit us by blacklisting us? WHY ARE THEY ALLOWED TO RUIN OUR LIVES LIKE THIS??? PLEASE HELP!!!

Dear Vodacom, we are not interested in your "standard response" to all customers. We are people who have no other way out and we asked 3 times to please discontinue our contract once it's 24 month period has expired. You are a pathetic money hungry company set out to destroy already POOR PEOPLE. POOR as in we have no money but still went as far as to finish the 24 month contract period. Where is Mr Nkateko Nyoka so he can give his employees proper legal advice? We want assistance NOW, not in due course or we will contact Mr Nkateko Nyoka in due course and take this much further than was ever necessary.
