Vodacom refuse to more business

The last few years I did not "renew or upgraded" my contract with Vodacom and used my old phone. then after numerous calls by Vodacom, in September2019, I opted to take their special - well what a disaster! the new package was nothing what I had although I was told that only the minutes, data and cost will change. I tried to change this January 2020 but no joy - then Lockdown hit! I had to word remotely with data from my phone - what a slep!!!! I called the call centre during April and are still waiting for the callback. I tried to change this through my local Vodashop and the call centre during July and still no luck. Last week my phone died and again I am trying to UP grade my contract: more minutes. more data and a new phone. Vodashop and Vodacom Call centre cannot or will not assist and insist that I can only change my contract when it is due for an upgrade in April 2020 or take out a new contract with a phone. I can see no reason why I should stay with Vodacom: for 23 years they got their money at the end of each month - whether I used all my minutes, data or SMS's, but when you need to change they refuse more business. Goodbye Vodacom!

Good Afternoon, are you confirming that there is no way that I can now change my contract to a contract with more minutes and data and a handset , resulting in a higher monthly payment to Vodacom?

If this is the case then I will wait for this "contract" to end (sadly I have never received the documents as promised by whoever sold this no-good package to me) or cancel it shortly and move over to another supplier. I will also sell my shares in Vodacom with immediate effect and NEVER EVER again do business with Vodacom. I will also not only tell my friends, family and business customers of the poor service but will publish this reply on various social media platforms!
