Vodacom refuse to cancel contract on expiry date
I called Vodacom on 23 October and was told that my contract expires on 9 December 2015 which would mark the end my contractual relationship with the company.

I called in today to clarify whether it would be the 9th or 10th that I could move my service at which the agent (Lebo) advised me that will actually be the end of December. I will be charged for a full month of service even though my contract expires on 9 December. She went on to advise me that Vodacom does not do prorata bills - even though that's exactly what happened when I began my contract.

On asking to escalate the matter I was placed on hold - a period of silence ensued for 5 minutes before I gave up and called back. This time I reached Sipho who checked with his team leader and was told to advise me that he is in a meeting with his boss K.Moss...

I am trying to honour my engagement with Vodacom, yet it is operating as if it has carte blanche to turn a 24 month engagement into 25...this one sided engagement is unaaceptable!
