Vodacom refusal to share recorded call with 22 years contract customer
I am greatly dissapointed in the customer service Vodacom has afforded me , as a Contract holder since 2001. For plus 22 years as a contract holder , to be misled, misrepresented in a contractual matter is disgusting. In Feb 2023 - a lady salesrep called me to inform me that the Red Deal has a data increase offer for me, and I explicitly asked if this is an upgrade. She informed me that it was not an upgrade , and I rep**** , " I am still undecided on which phone I want to upgrade to , so once I am ready my account renewal upgrade I will complete.
After 2 months , when I dediced to upgrade online , system confirmed that I had already upgraded. I decided to head to a store , and to my suprise , the RED DEAL data offer was an upgrade. The Consultant did however confirm I could upgrade , after 2 days. I then asked how can I take this matter of principle up , because as a client , Vodacom have contravened the treating me fairly.
I called Vodacom 1958 on the 28 Apr 2023 to request the telephone recording to affirm my assertions on my instruction to the salesperson. I was informed within 3 days , the recording would be emailed to me. No recording was sent to me. 16 May 2023 I phone again , spoke to a gentleman by the name Simphiwe , informed his about the bad treatment of the salesperson , and the previous person who promised to forward me the telephone recording, and nothing has been done. He affirmed me that I would have the recording within 3 days , and he would ensure that no slip up happens.
I have been checking my mailbox , no telephone recording to date. What kind of service is this , to a paying customer. Consultants seem to be protecting each other against deliberate non delivery promises.
I am considering cancelling everything ( 2 contracts) and go where I will be valued. I am entitled to the telephone records , its my contractual right , and Vodacom has contravened a serious regulation protocol.
