Vodacom refusal to cancel insurance cover

My cellphone contract with Vodacom lapsed around August and I communicated with them during the same period that I would not be renewing my contract and therefore would also like to cancel my insurance cover. It's been almost 3 months now with vodacom debiting my account for a service which explicitly stated that I no longer want and therefore want it canceled. Every time I call I get different explanations from their consultants. Last month I was informed the payment would be the last one as they processed my cancelation request but to my surprise I received another msg this month that they would be debiting my account for the insurance cover which I clearly requested to be canceled. It feels like I am being bul**** and coerced into paying for something that I don't want. This is abuse.
