Vodacom refund still unresolved after months
Unresolved Vodacom refund, poor communication, no accountability, extremely frustrating experience.

27 May 2026, 10:46 Vodacom’s service has been absolutely shocking and unacceptable. I paid R94,588.61 from my own account to resolve a deceased account issue and was later told a credit of R28,651.64 is due back to me. Since then, I have received poor communication, no clear answers, no proper escalation, and my SR has remained unassigned since 17 March 2026. Vodacom was quick to demand payment and suspend numbers, but when they need to refund money, nobody takes ownership. This has caused unnecessary stress, frustration, wasted time, and complete loss of trust in Vodacom’s customer service.

27 May 2026, 10:50 Vodacom’s service has been shocking and completely unacceptable. I was told that if I wanted to keep my father’s cellphone number active, I had to pay up the account. I followed Vodacom’s instructions and paid R94,588.61 from my own bank account, only for Vodacom to then delete the number anyway. How can a customer be told to pay in order to keep a number, do exactly what was asked, and still lose the number? On top of that, I was later told there is a credit of R28,651.64 due back to me, but this refund has still not been finalized. This is poor service, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability during an already sensitive family matter.
