Vodacom Red customer - Only God knows why!

My account has been mismanaged by Vodacom since February this year. I moved to a company where the bill was to be paid for by the company. I filled in all the required forms to transfer the account (twice because someone had misplaced the originals!) Vodacom cancelled my account instead!

I then requested for the line to be converted to a split billing account due to the stupidity of Vodacom. They reinstated my line but charged me ludicrous data amounts for 2 months and when I queried the amount the corporate account manager could not give me an explanation. It took Vodacom 6 months months to give me an answer on what the charges were for and the answer was "data bills can only be queried within 6 months after being billed, therefore it cannot be determined what the data charges were for".

During this period I have been sent letters demanding payment of my account, threatened to have the matter handed over to attorneys and even listed on the ITC. YET I DID NOT OWE ANY MONEY!

I requested an apology letter from the Corporate accounts manager and her boss/head of department, and 5 months later and I have not received a meeting or letter of apology. I have not even received a letter from Vodacom telling me that it was their fault and that I was never listed on the ITC nor was the matter ever handed over to attornies. My credibility has been questioned, my time has been taken up, money spent on endless telephone and company time used, YET nothing has been resolved. I still continue to get open-ended promises from the Corporate Accounts manager on management that will call me and promises of resolving simple matters such as the inability for me to view my bill online or load data bundles.

In summary 11 months of issues with Vodacom and NOTHING being resolved. Pathetic service...that's an understatement!

Yet another open-ended promise. 4 days later and Vodacom has not contacted me, even though the automated response says that someone would contact me.
