Vodacom really doesn't give a damn

I have been using Vodacom for more then 10 years now, and recently I have lost my job and wasn't able to make payment on my account for THE FIRST TIME. I first notice that cant receive any calls, I contacted Vodacom regarding this, they explained due to non payment my phone is blacklisted. I inserted my sim in a different phone in order to receive calls for work opportunities, but now Vodacom has stopped my sim as well. (I need work in order to make payment to my account) I have contacted Vodacom regarding this, and they insisted that I make payment and that is it. They have no empathy with me as the customer they only told me that I cant use a network that I'm not paying for and I mean you can put my number on prepaid just to receive the necessary calls to get work in order to pay the bills. Everybody knows it Covid-19 pandemic and people are losing their jobs everywhere and things are tough but Vodacom simply doesn't care.
